Webb25 sep. 2013 · I went to progressive lenses (graduated bifocals) about 3 years ago when I was 45. At first, the Dr. cautioned me that they might be tough to wear playing golf. He encouraged me to keep my old pair for awhile. So for about a year I would put on my old glasses just to play golf. Posted November 29, 2024. I have progressive lenses in my regular everyday glasses. Can handle both distance, and close-in (i.e. computer screen, reading). For golf I have distance-only sunglasses with transition, or adaptive lenses. The lenses adjust their darkness for the amount of light in area.
