WebSelf-led school visits. Many schools and groups choose self-led visits to the estate. Coach/minibus parking is limited (including pick-up and drop-off) and must be pre-booked before your visit by calling 01433 637907. There is a £10 facilities charge for groups coming independently, payable at the Welcome Building. WebLongshaw Estate has spectacular views across the countryside of the Peak District. There are facilities at Longshaw within the Moorland Discovery centre. which include a tea room, gift shop, trails, toilets and outdoor picnic tables. The centre often has activities for families such as hunts and themed crafts.
