WebAug 7, 2024 · The injection pump bleed screw is on the side of the injection pump. It has a 5/16 head. Remove this screw and crank the engine. Does fuel shoot out 4-6'. If not, you have a problem. If it does, replace the screw and crack two of your injector lines at the injector. Crank, wait for fuel flow at the injector, and tighten fuel line thereafter. WebI have a 3 cylinder ford 4000 about a 71 year model and fuel is leaking from the injector pump, looks like the fuel shut-off shat. I had this problem before and I removed the nut and bellcrank from the top of the shaft then moved the shaft up and down several times, this fixed the problem for a while but has started leaking again.
