WebDuracoat is very thin so it will run on you quick. 12" distance. I used a whole can for 1 rifle. Be careful because the last 5th of the can it starts to sputter and shoot out globs of paint. Matte black was pretty much semi gloss I don't know why that is. All in all I'm pretty happy with the coverage and look so far.
